It's Time to Return to School for Brentwood and Franklin, TN / Williamson County Students! It's a good time to be a music educator. On July 16, Senate named music as a core academic subject in its Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) reauthorization proposal, the Every Child Achieves Act.

If you have a student taking music lessons, I am sure practice is a part of your vocabulary. Afterall, Practice = Progress. Parents, I know you are not the one taking music lessons, but your involvment in practice will only help your child succeed- even if you don't know anything about music!
