This weekend, Saturday, October 10 join the Nashville Symphony and music lovers from the community as they enjoy free performances all day and night at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. This event will feature over 20 acts on 4 different stages and will showcase some of the talent that truly makes Music City great!

Does music have the ability to bring people together? Is music truly a univesal language? These are questions that the two men of Pursuit of Harmony have spent several years trying to answer these questions while traveling between the United States and the Middle East. Pursuit of Harmony is made up of a most unlikely pair, an American Jewish man, Michaels Ochs; and a Palestinian Muslim man, Alaa Alshaham.

Is it possible to shift the thinking of younger music students? Is it possible to make their lessons seem less like a chore and more like a privilege?
