This weekend is Halloween! And just in case you are short of things to do with your little ghosts and goblins, Music Star Studios has a couple of ideas!
House of Villains– This is a family friendly event happening at Rivergate Mall. Take your children to see their favorite villains in this not-so-scary show featuring smoke, flashing lights, realistic characters and plenty of audience interaction. Shows are Friday, October 30 at 5, 6:30 and 8; and Saturday, October 31 at 2, 3:30, 5, 6:30 and 8. $5
Spooky Science– On Saturday, October 31 from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. (before trick or treating) head over to the Adventure Science Center to see some bone-chilling science experiments and activities. Activities will include skull identification, creepy chemistry, a pumpkin powder keg, and a special Sci-bites presentation. All special activities are included with general admission, $14 for adults/teens (13+) and $11 for ages 2-12.
Halloween Fun at Shelby Bottoms- Throw on your costume and head over to the Shelby Bottoms Nature Center for crafts, candy and roasted pumpkin seeds. FREE, all ages event from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.
Not-So-Scary Stuff at Warner Park- This FREE all ages family event will be happening at Warner Park Nature Center on Saturday, October 31 from 10 a.m.- 11 a.m. Advance registration is necessary and can be made by calling (615) 352-6299. This program will discuss bats, spiders and snakes- and why they’re not so scary.
