Celebrating Nashville’s Songwriting Tradition

This week, Tuesday March 24th- Saturday March 28th, Nashville is celebrating its annual Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival.

This event celebrates Nashville’s rich songwriting tradition. It was intially created by the National Songwriters Association (NSAI) which was formed by 42 local songwriters in 1967. The first Tin Pan South Festival was put together by some of Nashville’s songwriters and the NSAI in 1992. This year marks the 23rd year for the festival and will feature community greats such as Vince Gill, Brandy Clark, Casey James, Will Hoge and many others.
