Franklin Road Academy – Enticing Creative Minds to Attend!

Franklin Road Academy is my alma mater.  While growing up in Nashville, TN, I attended several private schools Franklin Road Academy was by far my favorite – very supportive of the arts!

Founded in 1971 by Bill Bradshaw under First Christian Church’s 1957 Charter of Independence, Franklin Road Academy has progressed to become one of Nashville’s finest private college-preparatory schools.  A Pre-Kindergarten through Grade Twelve school, Franklin Road Academy builds its foundation on Christian values and character, where students, parents, and teachers are all interconnected through an inclusive, supportive, caring, and nurturing environment for education and personal growth.  As the school’s mission statement says:

[We seek] to instill in our students a lifelong love of learning, emphasizing academic excellence and college preparation; to develop students of integrity with Christian values to sustain and lead them in lives that will make a difference; and to guide students to discover needed balance for life through opportunities in the arts, athletics, and activities.  (http://is.franklinroadacademy.com/RelId/605722/ISvars/default/Mission_Statement.htm)
